Saturated Canary - GIRLY

I created this sweet image for the Color Me Creative challenge blog...Anything goes with a girly twist.

The image is one that I could not wait to color from Saturated Canary.  I just love her dress and hair.  What fun to color.

Papers are from Gina K Designs which I embossed with my cuttlebug and hi.ghlighted with my Distress Inks. I cut her out with my spellbinders and popped her up.  I used the TJ Newsletter techniques "out of the nestie box" and "cuttlebug highlights.  The sentiment is from Gina K Designs and the flowers are a die from Stampin Up!

Ombre..Ombre!!!

I just love this technique!!

I did another card with the TJ Newsletter current edition technique called Ombre Watercolor Resist.  It is so easy and the results are just fantastic.

This card is made with 2 I Brake For Stamps stamps called July Larkspur and Terra Cotta Pot.  I just love to combine stamps using masks.  I colored the terra cotta pot with copics.  I am practicing my terra cotta and my patina skills that I learned at the Color Me Creative classroom 5.  I just absolutely love coloring and learning new techniques.

Cricut Red Sox Card

I created this birthday card for my nephew who is a HUGE Red Sox fan.

I used my gypsy to create a look alike Red Sox logo.  I used Storybook and Type Candy fonts.

I Brake For Ombre Watercoloring

Happy Wednesday!!!

I just returned home from a family vacation down to the beach.  I got to spend some time with my son, parents, brother & sister-in-law, two nephews, aunt, uncle and cousins.  We do it every year and always have a wonderful time.  I returned home this morning to spend some quality time with, you guessed it, ME!  I love to spend a couple of days in my craft room making cards.

I have got to get started on my Christmas Cards!!!  I love Christmas in July.  You'll be seeing those real soon, hopefully work will not interfere with my fun.

I created this card using the new TJ newsletter for June.  It is called Ombre' Watercolor Resist.  I also used the spirelli technique on the embellishment.  Ombre watercolor resist was a really quick and easy technique with beautiful results.  I used the butterfly image and the background image called Leaf Flourish XLG are from I Brake For Stamps.  I have some fantasy film that I was trying out a while ago with the butterfly stamp.  I watched a You Tube video on how to use it.  I have had the butterfly laying around and decided to attach it to the background I made today.  I used Distress inks on the background along with stampendous gold detail embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up!

I took a picture of the side as well so you could see how it is raised.  I attached it to my card with tacky glue.

Technique Strips - Saturated Canary

I got these great new digi stamps from Saturated Canary and could not wait to color them.. I colored this sweet little yoga girl for my friend who loves Yoga...me, I don't see why but to each his own :) I am a Zumba  Girl myself...anywho...

I colored her with copics and used the new TJ Newsletter technique "Technique Strips"...oh how great it is to use some of my left over techniques...too many to name and I didn't mark them all so I am clueless :) I cut her scalloped oval from the strips and the label at the bottom which I embossed with a sentiment from my stamp set from Gina K designs.  I used bling around her and on the tag.

I used  the stacked digi's technique from the June 2012 TJ Newsletter.  Wow, what a cool technique.  My stacked digi is from the I Brake For Stamps digi downloads called "Pie".   I decided it was going to be an American Pie to go along with our theme. I colored them with my prismacolor pencils.  I am taking a new course through the Color Me Creative classroom with Marti Wills.

I embossed my stars, from Stampin Up!, with clear embossing powder and used distress ink to color the background.  To finish it off I used my 4th of July stickers from Jolee's Boutique.
