February Just One

Here is the just one from Dawn up close and personal.  Attached is the sweet card I received from my partner Dawn Tinkham this month.  She used the marbled shaving cream technique and double gatefold card.

 The card uses the simple swipes technique along with the popped embossing technique.  The card is from the fancy folds CD called Tall Accordion card.  The stamps are from stampin up!

The ATC is done with the Ghostly Spatters technique.  The rose is from I brake for stamps colored with copics.

Flashback to 2009 - IBFS - Mono Masking

Here is my take on an oldie but goodie from the TJ Newsletter Feb 2009.  This is a quick and easy technique with wonderful results.  I took it a bit further and colored my roses with copics.  I love roses.  

The focal stamp and side flowers are stamps from I Brake For Stamps.  I used a technique I learned from the CMC classroom which is called layering which allows you to deepen colors.

Curvy Borders - Doodle Pantry

This is a valentines card for my son.  I used the curvy borders technique along with glimmer mist watercolors from the TJ newsletter.

I am entering this in the craft your passion challenge - anything goes no patterned paper.  The image is a digi from Doodle Pantry.  I colored it with copics.  The candy hearts are from Stampin Up!

Watercolor Reinker - Karens Doodles

This cute little digi donkey is from Karens Doodles and I am entering him into the Karen's Doodle Challenge - cute and cuddly.  He is colored with copics.  I also added a little crystal effects to his hat.

I used the watercolor reinker technique from this month TJ newsletter.  This is a valentines card for my nephew who absolutely loves donkeys.  He is turning 5 and wants to be a donkey farmer when he grows up...he's sooo cute.

Back to Back - Doodle Pantry

This cute digi stamp is from Doodle Pantry.  I made this Valentines Card for my nephew.  I colored him with copics.  I cut him out with my spellbinders dies and embossed and colored them.  I used my distress inks to add a little color to the outside of the background.

I am entering him in the CMC Classroom challenge.  

Oil Pastel Chic - Dustin Pike

I used the technique junkies technique called Oil Pastel Chic.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up!

This birthday card will be for my baby boy who is turning 17 this weekend.

The digi is from Dustin Pike.  I am using a sketch for the Dustin Pike challenge.  This awesome little guys is from the January members only art.  He is colored with copics.  

Faded Texture meets Cuttlebug Highlights - Doodle Pantry

Here is a birthday card I made for a good friend of mine.

The trout is a digistamp from Doodle Pantry.  I colored it with copics.  I am entering it into their challenge blog.

The background is a technique from the TJ Newsletter called Faded Texture.  I also used the cuttlebug highlights technique.
