Shimmer, Glimmer, Sparkle and Shine - BLOG HOP!

Welcome!

Today, the TJNL Designers are sharing some great artwork from our brand new CD, Shimmer, Glimmer, Sparkle and Shine!  If you haven’t started at the beginning of the hop, visit Judy on the Designer’s Blog so as not to miss a thing!

Jackie did a fantastic job, don’t you think?  I just love her work, she is so talented.

I created a couple of different projects to share with you.  It was really hard to decide...I loved them ALL! What a talented bunch of ladies the TJNL designers are.

My first project is a baby card that I used stamps from I Brake For Stamps (Large Rattle) and Inkadinkadoo (binkie & sm rattle).  I colored the Large Rattle with my copics and a technique that I am still practicing call "No Line" coloring.  It is really challenging and I love it.  I cut the Large Rattle out using the old favorite "Out of the Box" technique.

The new CD gives awesome instructions on making your own embossing powder called "Homemade Pearlized Embossing Powder".  It is so easy and perfect for creating just the right background for your project.

I matted the rattle and card on black cardstock.  I used my copic refills to color my flowers for an added accent.

My second project also uses a stamp from I Brake For Stamps (Bunch of Roses), colored with copics using the same "No Line" technique.  The stamp is one of my most favorites, I use it for so many occasions.  On this project I used it not only as a focal point but also when I made the background using the "Glimmer Paint" technique.  It is hard to see but the background is all shimmery...OOOH LAA LAA.  I used the same Glimmer Mists on my ribbon so they would all match.

My final project is one that I whipped up last minute for a friend who is having a baby (they are not finding out what it is yet) so I had to make it universal.  The stamps are from Inkadinkadoo.  I used the "Distress Shimmer Resist" technique.  It was SOOOO easy.  I love when I can use all of my supplies and make something so beautiful so quickly.

Any how, enough from me...we could be here all day...bwah ha ha.  If you like what you see (and we both know you do) take a look at the picture index of all the techniques that are included on the CD by following this link:

I know you want it right? What...how do you get it? Well, it's easy, just click on the drop down on the right hand side and add to cart...easy peasy right?

Now I bid you adieu and send you on your way...if you get lost here is a list of all our wonderful ladies who each have a spectacular project to share.
