I Love Flowers

Here is a card I made for my friend for Mother's Day.  The stamp is from I Brake For Stamps colored with copics.  The background is done with watercolors.

I used the Dylusions Resist background technique from Technique Junkies Newsletter which is this week's Try That Technique.  The background stamp is from Stampin Up!  This technique is so easy, easy, easy and it generates such beautiful and unique results.
I am so happy that you stopped by today and I hope you have a crafty day!

Happy Birthday - CAS

I love clean and simple cards, don't you?

This is one is done with Gina K Designs papers and sentiment.  The rose is from Impression Obsession.  I colored it using the Technique Junkies Newsletters' Technique of the Week called Spray Mist coloring.  It was fun to do and very easy.

My hubby and I just got back from a snowmobile ride and I colored this up and here it is.

I hope you all have a wonderfully crafty day!

Welcome Baby

My mom's friend's son is having his first baby...it's a girl.  She is making her some fabulous homemade gifts (quilts, clothes and blankets..oh my).  She asked me to make her a baby card to go with her gifts.

I won the cut file (The Cutting Café) in a blog hop that I did last year to benefit a fellow crafter with Cancer.  I wasn't sure what to do with them as I didn't have a cutter so I just kept them.  Imagine how delighted I was when I got my Silhouette Cameo...woo hoo.

Ok, on to the details.

The onesie, flowers and butterfly were part of the cut file.  The digi stamp is from Dustin Pike colored with copics.  I used the Technique Junkies newsletter "Copic Stencil" behind the elephant.  This is also a technique that I learned from the copic classroom "Creative Backgrounds" with Marie Gamber.  I used my silhouette to cut the paint splat that I used as my stencil.  Stamp is from Stampin Up!  Inside verse is from the internet.

I am entering this into the Copic Classroom Challenge - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Try That Technlique - Inked Over

Hi Everyone,

Hope your holidays were as awesome as mine.  On vacation with my son and his girlfriend, my brother, sister-in-law, and nephews and of course the better half.  We were hoping for more snow so we could snowmobile but that didn't happen.  We are making the best of it with scrapbooking, board games and good old fashion fun (well, sometimes good new fashion fun :))

This weeks try that technique (a little later than normal) is the INKED OVER technique.  I loved this technique because was quick and easy and there are so many possibilities.

The bells are cut from my Cricut.  The must was a stamp from Technique Junkies.  I got the saying online and printed it to a piece of paper and mounted it at the top.

I hope you and your families have a wonderful and safe New Years!

Have a crafty day!
