Happy Grandmother's Day

Hello everyone,

I did up this Mother's Day card for Nana.  She loves her slot machines and I thought this would be a perfect image for her.  I used this weeks Technique Junkies newsletter - Technique of the Week - Punched Border Stand-Up cards.

I combined it with a technique from the newest Bodacious Background CD called Watered Dylusions. Would you like to have his new fabulous CD?  Just click on my link on the right hand side and it can be yours.  I absolutely love all of the new techniques.

The stamp is from I Brake For Stamps called "Slot Machine Jane".

I used the following copics to color her up.

Slot Machine:  C7, C5, C4, C3, C2, C00; YR24, YR23, Y15, Y11, Y00
Hair:  C7, C4, C2, C00
Stool: C5, C4, C3, C1, E29, E23, E15, E31
Skin: E08, E11, E21, E00, E000
Shirt: BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11
Flowers & Bag: BV08, V17, V15, V12, V0000
Skirt:  B97, B95, B93, B91

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Sunday!

Spring has Sprung

Well, I am here is VT enjoying another snowstorm...my husband and I will be snowmobiling until the trails close on April 15.  This is the first time in a long time...love it!

Anywho, onto today's card.  I am using a really fun spring stamp from I Brake For Stamps. (Sentiment stamp is from Penny Black). The papers are from Gina K Designs.  I cut out the swirls with my Sizzix dies.  I added some bling with my Sakura Glitter Pen...my fav!

I had some inspiration (in the shower...which happens more than you think)...I decided to color the birdhouse as if it was made out of wood with my copics.  The stamp is open and allows for you to have some creative license.  I really love how it came out...just like I imagined!

I hope you like today's project, join me tomorrow for some more inspiration.

Have a great day!

Tricia

Welcome to the first ever I Brake For Stamps Blog Hop!!

Today, we are hopping in honor of a BRAND NEW release from Rick St. Dennis.  These Rick St. Dennis Exclusive stamps are now available in the I Brake For Stamps store!

If you haven’t started the hop from the I Brake For Stamps blog, you’re going to want to do so.  We are offering a $15 IBFS Gift Certificate to a random hopper.  In order to qualify, you must leave a comment on each designer’s blog including the IBFS blog.  Tell us which bear is your favorite AND anything else that might make our crafty hearts smile J

You should have come here from the uber talented Robyn Correa.  Don't you just love her creations?? I know I do!

I am super exited to join today's blog hop and these wonderfully talented women.  Thanks so much for letting me play along...onto my project and the deets!!

Don't you just love this cute little skating bear!!!  I was so excited to color her with my copics.  I think it will be valentines card for my Niece, she will love it.

I got to try out my new copic coloring skills for "fur" that I learned recently on my color me creative group classroom.  I used E59, E25, E33, E31, R85, R83, R81, B14, B02, B01, B0000, C02, C01, C00.  It's hard to tell but I used my sakura gelly roll clear star pen on her pom poms and skates for a little bling bling!  The background is a technique from the technique junkies newsletter called background whimsy - copic method.  I used the same copics that I used on her outfit.  The background stamp is from Impression Obsession.  I highlighted with my Sharpie White poster paint pen.

So enough about me, last stop on your tour is with the extremely talented Jane Bosi.  Thanks for joining us and GOOD LUCK!  Happy Crafting....
